Real Numbers: 10K Investment →12,400 Return in 16 Weeks
Following up on my earlier post about direct mail investing. Here are actual numbers from a closed campaign:
Campaign Details:
Total CTPM ( Cost To Print Mail): $50,000
Campaign Duration: 16 Weeks
Brand: Consumer goods (health & wellness vertical)
Results:
Total Revenue Generated: $90,000
ROAS: 180% (18000) basis points
Total Campaign Profit: $40,000
Investor Returns (for a $10,000 investment)
Principal Returned: $10,000
Profit Share (30% of profits, pro-rata): $2,400
Total Payout: $12,400
Net ROI: 24%
The key differentiator here is the two-stage distribution model. All revenue first goes toward returning investor principal. This means you’re de-risked quickly. Once the campaign breaks even, profit sharing kicks in.
Distributions happen weekly as revenue comes in, not at the end of the campaign.
