Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 2026. These Terms explain the rules for using Funder Intel's website, membership, tools, newsletters, courses and events. Please read them carefully.

1. Agreement to these Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of funderintel.com and any related pages, tools, newsletters, member areas, courses and events (together, the "Services") operated by Funder Intel LLC ("Funder Intel," "we," "us" or "our"). By visiting the site, creating an account, subscribing, buying a product or attending an event, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
If you use the Services on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for that company, and "you" includes that company.

2. Who we are and what we are not
Funder Intel is a media and market intelligence company for the business lending and fintech industries. We publish news and analysis, maintain directories and data tools, run a members' networking community, offer training courses and host events.
We are not a lender, broker, funder, investment adviser, law firm or accounting firm. We do not make, arrange or guarantee loans, advances or any other financing, and nothing in the Services is an offer or solicitation of credit or securities.

3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Services. The Services are intended for business and professional use by people working in or around commercial finance.

4. Accounts, membership and verification
Approval is not automatic. We review every membership request and may verify your identity, company and role before approving an account. We may ask for more information, and we may decline, suspend or revoke any membership at our sole discretion, including if we cannot verify you.
You agree to give accurate, current and complete information, to keep it up to date, and not to impersonate anyone or misrepresent your company or role. Use a work email address where possible. Each account is for one person; do not share your login. You are responsible for all activity under your account and must tell us promptly at info@funderintel.com if you believe it has been compromised.

5. Community and networking rules
Members may post in the networking group, comment, message other members and create profiles. When you do, you agree to:
keep it professional and relevant to business lending, fintech and related services;
not harass, threaten, defame or discriminate against anyone;
not post spam, mass solicitations, chain messages or repetitive promotional content;
not share anyone's confidential information, merchant or borrower data, or personal information without permission;
not post false or misleading claims about any company, product, funder or broker;
comply with all laws that apply to you, including consumer protection, commercial financing disclosure, privacy and telemarketing laws.
We may remove content, limit features or remove members who break these rules. We are not responsible for how other members act, inside or outside the Services, and any business you do with another member is solely between you and that member.

6. Content you submit
"Member Content" means anything you post or submit, including comments, posts, profile details, company information, underwriting guidelines, directory listing details, reviews, form responses and event registrations.
You keep ownership of your Member Content. You grant Funder Intel a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to host, use, reproduce, edit, adapt, display and distribute it in connection with operating, improving and promoting the Services. This includes showing company and guideline information in our directories and tools and to other members.
You confirm that you have the right to submit your Member Content, that it is accurate, and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or break any law or confidentiality obligation. We do not review all Member Content before it appears and do not endorse it. We may edit, decline or remove any Member Content at any time.

7. Directories, listings and introductions
Our directories and lists of funders, lenders, brokers, software providers and other companies are compiled from public sources, company submissions and our own research. A listing is not an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee of any company's licensing, products, pricing, conduct or financial condition. Featured and sponsored listings may be paid placements.
When you use a "request an introduction" or similar feature, you authorize us to share your name, company, contact details and the information you provide with the company you asked to be introduced to. We do not guarantee a response, an approval, a deal or any particular outcome.
Companies may ask us to correct or remove their listing information by contacting info@funderintel.com. We will review reasonable requests but are not obligated to make every change.

8. Tools, calculators and data
Our calculators, scorecards, matching tools, trackers and dashboards (including SBA loan tools, underwriting and offer comparison tools) provide estimates and general information only. Results depend on the information you enter and on data that may be incomplete, delayed or wrong. They are not a quote, an approval, a credit decision or a guarantee of any rate, fee or term. Always confirm figures with the lender, funder, the SBA or another official source before you rely on them.
Public record and commercially available data used on the site may contain errors. Source data is sometimes reported or entered inaccurately, processed poorly or incorrectly, and is generally not free from defect. We aggregate and report this data; we are not its source, and it is not a complete compilation. Verify any data independently before relying on it.

9. No professional advice
Everything in the Services, including articles, newsletters, courses, podcasts, events, tools and replies from our team, is for general information and education. It is not legal, tax, accounting, investment, credit or financial advice, and it does not create any professional or fiduciary relationship. Regulatory content, including our regulation tracker, summarizes laws that change often and may not reflect the latest rules. Consult a qualified professional about your specific situation.

10. Paid memberships, subscriptions, courses and products
Prices, billing periods and what each plan or product includes are shown at checkout. By purchasing, you authorize us and our payment processors to charge your payment method. Recurring plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel from your account or by contacting us, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
Except where required by law or stated otherwise at the time of purchase, fees are non-refundable, including for courses and digital products that have been accessed or downloaded. We may change prices or plan features going forward; we will give you notice before a price change applies to your next renewal.
Course and product licenses are for your own individual use. You may not share logins or resell, republish or distribute course materials.

11. Events
Event details, speakers, venues, dates and schedules may change. If we cancel an event, we will offer a credit or refund for any ticket price you paid. Unless stated otherwise at purchase, tickets and sponsorships are non-refundable if you cannot attend, but you may transfer a ticket to a colleague with our approval.
By attending, you agree to follow our event rules and venue rules, to behave professionally and to drink responsibly where alcohol is served. We may refuse entry or remove anyone, without a refund, for disruptive or inappropriate conduct.
Events may be photographed, filmed or recorded. By attending, you consent to us using your name, image, likeness and voice in recordings and photos of the event in our media and promotional materials, without compensation.
You attend in-person events at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Funder Intel is not responsible for injury, loss or damage to you or your property at an event, except where caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

12. Newsletters and communications
If you subscribe to The Funding Curve or other updates, we will send you emails about the topics you chose. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. Even if you unsubscribe, we may still send you account, billing, security and other transactional messages.
If you give us your phone number, you agree that we may contact you about your account, membership verification, purchases and events you registered for. We will not send you marketing text messages without your separate consent.

13. Advertising, sponsorships and affiliate links
The Services include advertising, sponsored content and sponsored listings. We identify sponsored content as sponsored. Some links to products and services are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you sign up or buy, at no extra cost to you. Advertisers and sponsors do not control our editorial coverage, and an ad or sponsorship is not an endorsement. Your dealings with any advertiser are solely between you and that advertiser.

14. Our intellectual property and how you may use it
Unless stated otherwise, Funder Intel and its licensors own all content in the Services, including text, articles, data compilations, directories, tools, software, graphics, logos, courses and videos. Funder Intel and The Funding Curve names and logos are our trademarks. Other product and company names, logos and trademarks on the site belong to their respective owners.
We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to view and use the Services for your own internal business purposes. You may share links to our articles and quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back to the original. Without our prior written permission, you may not:
republish, sell, rent, sublicense or redistribute our content, directories, data or course materials;
copy, download or export our directories, lists, member information or data in bulk;
use bots, scrapers, crawlers or other automated tools to access, extract or index the Services, except public search engines indexing public pages;
use our content or data to build a competing directory, database, list or product;
use our content or data to train, fine-tune or build artificial intelligence or machine learning models;
harvest member or listing contact information for unsolicited marketing;
remove copyright, trademark or other notices; or
frame our pages or otherwise change how the Services appear.

15. Linking to our site
Government agencies, search engines, news organizations and online directories may link to our home page, articles and other public pages without approval. Anyone else may link to our public pages as long as the link is not misleading, does not imply our sponsorship or endorsement, and fits the context of the linking site. You may not use our logo or artwork in a link without a trademark license, and you may not frame our pages. We may ask you to remove a link to the Services at any time, and you agree to do so promptly.

16. Third-party sites and services
The Services link to websites and services we do not control, including those of listed companies, advertisers, payment processors and event venues. We are not responsible for their content, products, terms or privacy practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

17. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
break any law or regulation, or help anyone else do so;
post or transmit anything unlawful, fraudulent, defamatory, obscene or infringing;
upload viruses or malicious code, or try to gain unauthorized access to the Services, other accounts or our systems;
interfere with or overload the Services, or get around any security, access or usage limits;
create accounts by automated means or under false pretenses;
collect personal information about other users without their consent; or
use the Services to market financing or other products in a way that violates consumer protection, commercial financing disclosure, telemarketing or anti-spam laws.

18. Copyright complaints
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content in the Services infringes your copyright, send a notice to info@funderintel.com. Include your contact details, a description of the copyrighted work, the location of the material you believe infringes it, a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized, a statement under penalty of perjury that your notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner, and your physical or electronic signature. We may remove material and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

19. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES AND ALL CONTENT, DATA, TOOLS AND MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FUNDER INTEL DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT AND ACCURACY. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that information is complete, accurate or current, or that any defect will be corrected. We do not guarantee the identity, licensing, conduct or creditworthiness of any member, listed company, advertiser or event attendee, even if we have reviewed or approved them.

20. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FUNDER INTEL AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DEALS, BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD SUCH DAMAGES WERE POSSIBLE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

21. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Funder Intel and its owners, employees, contractors and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Services, your Member Content, your dealings with other members, listed companies or advertisers, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

22. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access to all or part of the Services at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have broken these Terms, created risk or legal exposure for us or others, or provided false information, or if we stop offering a Service. You may close your account at any time by contacting us. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including those on content licenses, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification and disputes.

23. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information, including information you submit when you sign up, subscribe, request an introduction or register for an event. By using the Services, you agree to that use.

24. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at info@funderintel.com and try in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Any lawsuit related to the Services or these Terms must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and we each waive any right to a jury trial, and claims may be brought only on an individual basis and not as part of any class or representative action.

25. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above, and for material changes we may also notify members by email or on the site. Your continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

26. General
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any terms shown at purchase or registration, are the entire agreement between you and Funder Intel about the Services. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
