What you can do on the SBA Lending Dashboard
Price a deal: check today’s maximum SBA 7(a) rates in the Rate Tracker, then model payments and FY2027 guaranty fees in the Payment Calculator.
Qualify a deal: run the Deal Scorecard before you submit to see which program fits (7(a), 504 or SBA Express) and what to fix first.
Place a deal: search the Lender Intelligence Database for lenders that match the loan size, industry and geography, or browse Top SBA Lenders for featured lenders.
Compare offers: put up to three term sheets side by side and see which one really costs less.
Frequently asked questions
Are the SBA tools on Funder Intel free?
Yes. All six SBA tools are free to use and none of them require a login.
Who are these SBA tools for?
They are built for business loan brokers, ISOs, funders and lenders working SBA 7(a) and 504 deals. Business owners use them too, to check rates, estimate payments and see how a lender is likely to view their file.
What is the difference between an SBA 7(a) loan and an SBA 504 loan?
A 7(a) loan is SBA’s general-purpose loan for working capital, equipment, business acquisitions, refinancing and real estate, up to $5 million. A 504 loan finances major fixed assets such as owner-occupied real estate and heavy equipment: a bank provides the first loan, a Certified Development Company (CDC) provides a long-term fixed-rate second loan, and the borrower typically puts down about 10%. Since July 4, 2026, a qualified borrower can use up to $5 million in each program, or $10 million combined.
Where does the data come from?
The market data and lender database are built from SBA’s public loan data released under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and from SBA reports. Rate caps and fees come from SBA notices and the SBA SOP 50 10 8. Broker notes and rankings are Funder Intel’s own analysis.
How often is the information updated?
The Rate Tracker is updated after every Federal Reserve rate decision that moves the prime rate. Market data is refreshed when SBA releases new loan data, and fee and rule changes are added when SBA publishes them, usually at the start of each fiscal year on October 1.
