All In for a Cause managed to be both.
On Thursday evening, professionals from across the business lending, fintech, banking, and commercial finance industries came together at The Westin Fort Lauderdale for an evening that combined meaningful networking, friendly competition, and a shared commitment to giving back.
With proceeds benefiting Second Chance Society, the event, co-hosted by Dragin and Funder Intel, reminded everyone that our industry can make an impact far beyond business.
A Special Welcome from Fort Lauderdale's Mayor
The evening began with networking as attendees reconnected with familiar faces and met plenty of new ones over drinks and appetizers.
We were honored to welcome Fort Lauderdale Mayor Dean Trantalis, who took a few moments before the tournament began to speak about the importance of community, collaboration, and supporting organizations that make a difference. His presence helped set the tone for an incredible evening.

From First-Time Players to Seasoned Veterans
One of the best parts of the night was watching complete beginners sit beside experienced poker players.
There were plenty of laughs.
A few dramatic all-ins.
Some unbelievable river cards.
And more than enough friendly table talk to keep the energy high all evening.
Whether someone walked in knowing every poker strategy imaginable or simply wanted to learn while networking, everyone found themselves part of the experience.

Congratulations to Our Champion!
After some great play, we'd like to congratulate Abe Chen from CapWorks for taking home the title at our inaugural All In for a Cause Charity Poker Tournament. It was a well-earned victory through a talented field of players.
The top 4 finishers all received the same gift bags and other prizes:
4th-place Marc Green and 3rd-place Roy Evans got brand new Sony over-ear headphones. 2nd place Carlos Huerta earned a new Nintendo Switch. And Abe Chen walked away with a new MacBook Air.
